Being informed is the foundation of collective action. Sign up to receive updates from MAC on migrant rights, campaigns, and how you can be part of the fight for migrant justice in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The systems that shape migrants’ lives (immigration policy, labour law, healthcare access, etc) change constantly, usually without fanfare. MAC tracks what matters and puts it in plain language so our community stays informed and ready to act.
This is the lowest-barrier way to stay connected to MAC. No commitment. No requirement to identify yourself as a migrant or a supporter. Just a form and a willingness to stay in the loop.
We do not flood inboxes. We don't even have the capacity to flood inboxes. We try our best to send updates when there is something worth sharing: a campaign launch, an action you can join, a rights issue you need to know about, or an event coming up. Quality over quantity.
When MAC launches a campaign or takes collective action, subscribers hear about it first. Whether you join in is always your call.
Policy changes, legal updates, and system shifts that affect migrants in NL explained plainly, without spin, and with enough context to actually use the information.
Community events, Migrant Justice 101 sessions, actions, and other opportunities to connect, learn, and build solidarity in person.
When we need more hands for an action, an event, or a campaign, the list is where the call goes out. Saying yes is always optional.
If you work at a settlement agency, legal clinic, union, school, community health centre, or any other organization that works alongside migrants, sign up on behalf of your organization. Staying informed helps you better serve and advocate alongside the communities you work with.
Subscribing does not mean endorsing MAC or committing to collaboration. It means staying informed. If it leads to a deeper conversation about working together, we are open to that. Just tell us you are signing up as an organization in the form.
We collect your email and, optionally, your name. We use it only to send you MAC updates. We do not sell it, share it with government or immigration agencies, or pass it to third-party marketers.
Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click and you’re off the list. No questions, no friction.
Like any organization, we could theoretically be compelled by a court order to disclose records. We take that seriously: we would resist such demands where we legally can and notify affected people where we are permitted to. We also keep our subscriber lists as lean as possible for exactly this reason.
No commitment. Unsubscribe any time. Takes about 30 seconds.
